Young Americans share their memories of growing up in a post-9/11 world, where they were that day and how it changed their lives.
About this project
The 10th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, has caused many to reflect on how the largest terrorist attack on American soil has affected our lives. As School of Communication students at American University, we set out to examine the impact our generation has felt from that day. We conducted an independent survey and coupled it with original reporting and research. This student-produced project is the product of our findings, which we are proud to share with you.
Reporting for this student project and survey was completed April 29, just before Osama Bin Laden's death.
